In September 2011, the Princess Theatre stage came to life
with the ever-popular tale of Oliver Twist.

The Launceston Musical Society’s Oliver! was an all-singing, all-acting, all-dancing production with a large cast of more than 100 performers.
Bringing vividly to life Dickens’ timeless characters with its ever-popular story of the boy who asked for more, Lionel Bart’s sensational score included Food, Glorious Food, Consider Yourself, You’ve Got to Pick-a-Pocket or Two, I’d Do Anything, Who Will Buy?, As Long As He Needs Me and many, many more.
Featuring a stellar line up of all-local talent (see here for the exciting cast list, and here for a sneak peek at rehearsals), this production was not to be missed.
