Treasurer

The Treasurer is responsible for managing the financial health of the Society and ensuring transparency in all transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Receive all monies and pay accounts approved by the Executive Committee or members at General Meetings.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate books, vouchers, and financial records for the Society.

  • Reporting: Prepare financial reports for meetings as required, and present a balance sheet and annual financial report at the Annual General Meeting.

  • Banking: Deposit all monies received and process payments promptly.

  • Budgeting: Prepare estimates for the Society and its productions to support planning and sustainability.

  • Membership Coordination: Work with the Members’ Coordinator to keep accurate records of membership payments and registrations.

This role is essential for ensuring the Society’s financial stability and supporting the success of our productions.
