About VHS Christmas Carol

Written by Clark Baxtresser and originally produced by Starkid Productions, VHS Christmas Carol reimagines A Christmas Carol through the lens of 1980s music, media, and pop culture. Originally released as a visual album in 2020, the show went on to successful stage productions in Los Angeles and Chicago.

The story follows the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge as he is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. Guided by these spirits and the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley, Scrooge embarks on a journey of reflection, redemption, and transformation.
